Diagnosis: Gum Disease!
Friday, April 28th, 2006For a young person, a diagnosis of gum disease can seem like a ball and chain. One eighteen year old we know was told he would have to have his teeth professionally cleaned every three months for the rest of his life if he wanted to keep them. What a drag! And what an expense! And even for those of us who are older, it still sounds scary.
So what causes gum disease? And is there anything you can do to hold off the progression? We’ll be looking for answers to these questions and more as we proceed with this blog.
