If you drink tea, make it the green stuff!!!
Studies conducted have shown that drinking green tea also has the ability to help reduce the plaque index as well as gingival index. This is a huge help in decreasing overall gum disease problems. What’s more, green tea is able to provide other benefits to the body aside from helping with gum disease so it is very cost effective as well as safe.
With further studies showing that green tea extracts added onto strips that are applied to gingivitis pockets can help reduce the depth of the pockets, it seems almost immediately obvious that the form in which the green tea is used is not so much important though as reguar consumtion would have the same effect… just remember not to add sugar!!!
